Louisville senior Mallory Comerford won her third straight 200 free on Friday night at the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Despite tying Katie Ledecky in 2017 and taking down Simone Manuel last year, Comerford said this year was the hardest one.
Comerford talked on Friday night about the race between her, Siobhan Haughey and Taylor Ruck and how much she anticipated that coming in to this meet. Comerford also was surprised to hear how fast she was out the first 100 and enjoyed being a part of such a tight race.
