Louisville swept the ACC swimmer of the week honors, announced Tuesday, with Gabi Albiero named the women’s swimmer of the week and Abdelrahman El-Araby winning for the men.

Albiero, another junior, helped the Cardinals win the team competition at Purdue. She won the 100 free in 47.49, the seventh-fastest time in the country this year, and claimed the 100 butterfly in 51.81. She was also third in the 50 free. Albiero took part in all five winning relays, including the third-fastest 200 medley relay in the nation.

Flory picked up three zone scores at the Ohio State Invitational. The junior won the 3-meter event by scoring 425.70 points. He secured silver in the 1-meter competition and bronze in platform, with a score of 408.45 in the latter.
