Lindsey Hosch To Become Third-Generation Longhorn With 2022 In-State Verbal to Texas
NEW COMMIT: The University of Texas has officially begun their Class of 2026 recruiting after landing an in-state verbal commitment from Junior National qualifier Lindsey Hosch of Dallas.
She told Swimming World:

A talented breaststroker, Hosch does her club swimming with Elite Swim Program and finaled in both breaststroke events at College Station Sectionals in March. She most recently notched a lifetime best in the 200 breast at the LAC Fall Classic this past weekend.
In Summer 2019, she had a strong showing swimming in her future home pool at Austin Sectionals before going on to race three events at Des Moines Futures.
Her best times include:
- 50 breast – 29.18
- 100 breast – 1:01.76
- 200 breast – 2:18.32
- 100 fly – 57.37
Currently a junior at Highland Park High School, Hosch is already a three-time Texas 5A State Championship finalist. She was the runner-up in the 100 breast and took seventh in the 100 fly as a sophomore while taking 10th in the latter during her freshman season.
Under head coach Carol Capitani, the Longhorns won their eighth-straight Big 12 team title in 2020.
The Longhorns are bringing in an impressive Class of 2025 that includes Erica Sullivan, Riley Courtney, Channing Hanley, Ava Collinge, Jordan Morgan, Morgan Brophy, Ellie Andrews and Olivia McMurray.
