NARBONNE, France, October 18. Three-time world champion Camille Lacourt has a benign tumor on his hip, according to a report by L’Equipe today.
Lacourt told the newspaper that he suffers from a benign tumor on his hip, which is why he hasn’t swum in a meet since French Championships in April.
The tumor was discovered after procedure was done to remove a hematoma. Lacourt will now undergo a liquid injection to speed up the removal of the tumor, and he should be back in the water in time to compete at a meet in Genoa by the beginning of November.
