While living in New York City, Leila worked at a sports retail shop and learned about retail and athletic wear. Leila’s self taught design and swimming experience led her to launch her own swimwear collection, Vaziri Swim.
“I felt there was a need for fashionable, well-designed, high-performance swimwear. Growing up in Florida and being a competitive swimmer for over 15 years, I’ve spent most of my days in bathing suits. I wanted my swimsuits to perform great athletically and didn’t see why they couldn’t also be fashionable to wear off the pool deck as well.”

Made from matte lycra and fast drying power mesh, Vaziri suits are durable and supportive. Vaziri swimsuits come in a variety of cuts and styles but almost always bear a “V” design element as a tribute to the designer’s namesake and brand, Vaziri. Influenced by New York
City street style, Vaziri Swim offers an understated, chic color pallet of muted jewel tones like Amethyst and deep Sapphire.
Suits are also available in black and white, as well as made-to-order patterned designs. Most suits range from $60 to $70 and custom printed suits can be special ordered for $140. Vaziri Swim is available online at VaziriSwim.com, and in select boutiques in New York City and South Florida. See more about Leila’s coaching at LeilaVaziri.com
