King Aquatic Club Lowers Boys 11-12 200 Medley Relay National Age Group Mark
FEDERAL WAY – KING Aquatic Club lowered the boys 11-12 200-yard medley relay National Age Group record at the Pacific Northwest Swimming Short Course Championships.
The foursome of Tyler Lu (27.67), Alex Flores (27.68), Aaron Nguyen (26.85) and Ethan Dang (22.34) set the record with a 1:44.54 in Federal Way.
This particular record has been a bit of a hot potato this winter.
Earlier this year, the Tualatin Hills Swim Club squad of David Liu, Caspar Corbeau, Nathaniel McFaul and Trenton Martinez set the mark with a 1:46.05.
Then, to kick off December, Lu, Flores, Jake Rinehart and Dang clocked a 1:44.97 to smash the record.
Nation’s Capital’s Ryan Catron, Darius Truong, Leo Goldblatt and Brett Feyerick countered at the Speedo Tom Dolan Invitational with a 1:44.74, before KING’s latest top time.
