Katarzyna Wilk Adds 100 Free Polish Record On Day Two of 2019 Polish Nationals
Katarzyna Wilk has broke another Polish record, this time in the women’s 100 free on the second day of the 2019 Polish Nationals.
The 27-year-old led off the 400 free relay in finals with a 54.22, breaking her own national record of 54.38 from back in 2016. Wilk’s relay also set a new national record for the 400 free relay, touching in 3:42.87 to take four seconds off of the previous mark. That bodes well for her individual 100 free, which is scheduled for the fourth day of the meet.
And two more Polish Records for Kasia Wilk!!! ???

That continues a strong meet for Wilk, who opened the meet yesterday by becoming the first Polish woman to break 25 seconds in the 50 free when she posted a new national record of 24.73 in prelims, slashing almost 4-tenths off her personal best.
Other notable swims from the second night of finals includes a win in the 200 free for Kacper Majchrzak (1:47.32) that is about a second off his own national record, and Weronika Hallmann’s win in the 100 breast (1:08.75) that was less than a second off the Polish national record.
