SAN FRANCISCO – California junior Josh Prenot was voted the Pac-12 Men’s Swimmer of the Month, while Arizona State freshman David Hoffer was named the Pac-12 Men’s Diver of the Month for January 2015, the Conference announced today.
Prenot (Orcutt, Calif.) had five first-place finishes in five different events to help Cal men’s swimming and diving to dual meet wins at Arizona State and Arizona. The junior won the 100 breast (55.32) and the 200 back (1:46.59) at Arizona State on Jan. 23, then followed with victories in the 200 fly (1:47.65), the 200 breast (1:56.69) and the 400 IM (3:50.53) at Arizona on Jan. 24.
