Jordan Ash Remains In State After Verbally Committing to Cal

NEW COMMIT: The University of California, Berkeley has earned a new verbal commitment for the 2024-25 season from in-state standout Jordan Ash of San Francisco, Calif.

She’ll join Finley Anderson as a member of the Golden Bears’ class of 2028.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I’m so grateful and excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at University of California, Berkeley! A huge thank you to everyone supporting me especially my family, friends and coaches for this opportunity and endless support throughout this process! I can’t wait to start my next chapter on this team!! Go bears”

Ash does her club swimming with North Bay Aquatics and is a Junior National qualifier. She competed at Juniors West back in December and won the B-final of the 100m fly at Santa Clarita Sectionals last summer.

Her best times include:

  • 100 fly – 54.59
  • 50 free – 23.91
  • 100 free – 51.81
  • 200 free – 1:51.84

Currently a junior at St. Ignatius College Prep, Ash recently placed fourth in the 50 free and sixth in the 100 fly at the CIF Cental Coast Section Championships last week. She flew to 12th overall in the 100 fly at the 2022 CIF State Championships during her sophomore season.
