The 2021 Texas 5A and 6A Girls State Swimming and Diving Championships took place on March 1-2 at the Bill Walker Pool and Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio, Texas.
Both meets were postponed not once, but twice because of the historic winter storm sweeping across Texas.
Johnson’s 4×50 free relay consisting of Mikayla Moore (23.81), Leyna Beach (23.60), Elsa Musselman (23.64), and Jada Scott (22.25) broke the 6A and state record in 1:33.30, eclipsing the old mark of 1:33.54 set by Conroe The Woodlands in 2009.
Below are full meet results and individual event champions for both meets.
