Jeremy Stravius Doubles on Day 1 of French Short Course Nationals
Jeremy Stravius won the men’s 200-meter IM in 1:55.70 with Ganesh Pedurand taking second in 1:56.34. Jeremy Desplanches hit the wall third in 1:59.23.
Stravius doubled up with a 3:39.48 in the men’s 400-meter free for the win. Jordan Pothain took second in 3:39.86 with Joris Bouchaut snaring third in 3:43.18.
Florent Manaudou uncorked a 21.20 to win the men’s 50-meter free with Clement Mignon a close second in 21.28. Fred Bousquet placed third in 21.68.
Femke Heemskerk threw down a 52.61 to win the women’s 100-meter free. Anna Santamans took second in 53.41 with Margaux Fabre placing third in 53.76.
The Netherlands’ Sharon van Rouwendaal topped the women’s 1500-meter free in 15:49.50 with Aurelie Muller taking second in 15:58.91. Adeline Furst wound up third in 16:07.71.
Ben Stasiulis claimed the men’s 200-meter back title in 1:52.31 with Eric Ress earning second in 1:54.53. Geoffroy Mathieu picked up third in 1:55.59.
Pauline Mahieu turned in a 58.69 to win the women’s 100-meter back. Mathilde Cini (58.76) and Camille Georghiu (59.94) also cleared 1:00 in the finale.
Mehdy Metella won the men’s 100-meter fly in 50.86, while Jordan Coelho took second in 51.66. Camille Lacourt finished third in 52.22.
Lara Grangeon snagged the women’s 200-meter IM crown in 2:09.39. Fantine Lesaffre placed second in 2:11.93 with Coralie Codevelle picking up third in 2:13.32.
Giacomo Perez Dortona posted a 58.76 to win the men’s 100-meter breast. Theo Bussiere placed second in 58.89 with Jean Dencausse taking third in 59.15.
Justine Bruno claimed the women’s 50-meter breast title in 31.15 with Adeline Williams second in 31.30. Nolwenn Herve wound up third in 31.78.
