Mizzou head swimming and diving coach Andrew Grevers announced the hiring of Jennifer Cahill as an assistant coach on Tuesday.

“I’m very excited to have Jenn join our staff,” Grevers said. She’s a great compliment to the Mizzou swimming and diving family. Her commitment to academic and athletic success, while connecting with the student-athletes to help them grow, is exactly what I’m looking for in an assistant coach.”

Cahill comes to Columbia after two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Vanderbilt.

“I would like to thank Coach Grevers and the rest of the athletic administration at Mizzou for this incredible opportunity,” Cahill said. “I am very grateful to join the Mizzou family, and I look forward to this new journey as a Tiger!”

Cahill comes to Columbia after two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Vanderbilt University. With the Commodores, she helped the program set eight school records in her two years and numerous personal best times. Cahill also developed and planned Commodore’s dry land program.

Prior to Vanderbilt, Jennifer Cahill spent two years as a graduate assistant to TCU, where she helped the Horned Frogs to five school records and 16 NCAA ‘B’ cuts in her final year in Fort Worth.

Cahill began her coaching career at the Boise YMCA Swim Team in 2013 before she served as an assistant at the University of Puget Sound for the 2014 season.

A native of Wailuku, Hawai’i, Jennifer Cahill was a four-year letter winner at Boise State University and was a part of the program’s three-consecutive conference championship titles.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Boise State University in 2013 and a Master’s of Liberal Arts from Texas Christian University in 2017.

Alec Hayden was named associate head coach last week by the Tigers.
