INDUSTRY NEWS: US Water Polo Chooses Colorado Time Systems As Its Official Scoring and Timing Company
FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, September 18. COLORADO Time Systems, LLC, a major provider of sports, scoring and display systems throughout the world, has been selected by United States Water Polo, Inc. as its official scoring and timing company. The terms of the agreement include a two-year program with a two-year renewal option.
The announcement comes less than a week after USA Swimming announced its official timing system would be the Swiss company, Omega.
As the Official Scoring and Timing System Company for US Water Polo, Colorado Time Systems will provide scoring equipment and technical support for United States Water Polo major events from 2002-2004.
United States Water Polo is the national governing body for the sport of water polo. The national office is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the Executive Director's office is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Their mission is to ensure the development and longevity of the sport of water polo throughout the United States by offering the highest quality water polo programs and the best possible polo teams at international competitions.

Since 1972, Colorado Time Systems has been recognized as the system of choice for the aquatic timing and scoring market (over 80 percent market share domestically) and equipment provide to high profile events such as the World University Games, the World
Championships in Aquatics, the X-Games, U.S. Figure Skating Championships and International Special Olympics. The vast majority of facilities that have hosted U.S. Nationals and/or NCAA Championships have selected Colorado Time Systems equipment.
