only two candidates for the position of head men's swimming coach, according to a reliable source. The interviews will be conducted today.
As previously reported on SwimInfo, Ray Looze of the University of the Pacific, is rumored to have
the inside track for the job due to his spectacular success at Pacific and his relationship with the Indiana athletic director.
Bill Dorencutt, head men's and women's swimming
coach at Penn State and who has also done a superb job with the Nittany Lions, is also being interviewed for the coaching position.
Although other extremely well-qualified candidates submitted resumes, our sources indicate that no other individuals are going to be interviewed. It is expected
that a new head coach will be named in the immediate future.
