Indiana HS 500 Free Champ Kay Foley Verbally Commits to NC State

NEW COMMIT: Kay Foley has verbally committed to swim for NC State University beginning in the fall of 2019. Foley is from Munster, Indiana where she is a junior at Munster High School and swims for Munster Swim Club.
Foley finds her sweet spot in the 200 and 500 freestyles. She went lifetime bests in both of those events at Indiana High School state championships in February. In the 200 freestyle Foley finished third. She then returned to win the 500 freestyle by nearly three seconds.
Her best times are:
- 100 Free 51.80
- 200 Free 1:47.68
- 500 Free 4:48.02
- 200 Fly 2:01.34
- 200 Breast 2:16.69
At ACCs this year Foley would have scored points in the C final of the 200 free, and been the third placing finisher for the Wolfpack in the event. She’d also be a C finalist in the 500 freestyle.
“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at NC State University!!! Thank you to everyone who has helped me get here!!! GO PACK!!!”
