NEW COMMIT: First Colony Swim Team, Inc.’s Danielle Hepler has verbally committed to swim for the University of Missouri. The Katy, Texas, native is a rising senior at Seven Lakes.

Hepler told Swimming World,

“I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim for the University of Missouri! My parents, coach, and team have been an amazing support system throughout this process and I can’t wait to move onto the next chapter of my swimming career at Missouri! The team is full of people I want to surround myself with. Go tigers!”

Hepler is an IMer. Her top times are:

  • 200 IM 2:00.12
  • 400 IM 4:15.38
  • 200 Free 1:48.27
  • 500 Free 4:49.11

Hepler had a great season, setting best times in all of her top events at the Dolfin ISCA Junior Championships in March.

At the 2017 SEC Championships it took just under two minutes to earn a second swim in the 200 IM. With over a year to go, Hepler is closing in on that scoring mark. She would have pulled in some points for the Tigers in the 400 IM at this year’s meet, where she would have been a C finalist. She’s also just over a second away from scoring range in the 500 free.

Allison Bloebaum is also verbally committed to the Mizzou Class of 2022.
