HS Sophomore Will Rose Announces ASU Verbal Intent for 2020-21 Season
NEW COMMIT: High school sophomore Will Rose recently announced his intent to swim for the Arizona State University Sundevils following his high school graduation in 2020.
A native of Alliance, Ohio, Rose was a two-time finalist at the 2017 Ohio State Championships as a freshman, where he finished second in both the 50 (20.52) and 100 (45.35) free. Outside of the high school season, he swims for the Canton City Schools and has represented his club team at the NCSA Spring Junior Swimming Championships, Genever Futures Championships, and the Columbus Speedo Sectionals.
His best times in SCY include:
- 50 free – 20.52
- 100 free – 44.92
- 50 back – 23.61
- 100 back – 51.20
- 50 fly – 22.36
- 100 fly – 51.11
Rose exclaimed via his Twitter account,

In addition to winning silver at last year’s Ohio State Championships, Rose was also honored with his first NISCA All-America nomination as a freshman and currently ranks as second in the state of Ohio for his graduating class.
