Heidi Dickson Sends Verbal Commitment to Seton Hall
NEW COMMIT: Greenwich, New Jersey’s Heidi Dickson has given her verbal commitment to swim for Seton Hall University beginning in the 2018-2019 season. She’s a senior at Wilmington Delaware’s Ursuline Academy.
Dickson told Swimming World,
“so excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim at seton hall university!! #HALLin”
A freestyler, her best times include:
- 200 Free 1:54.89
- 500 Free 5:05.30
- 1000 Free 10:24.72
- 1650 Free 17:11.06
- 400 IM 4:36.09
At last year’s Big East Championships Dickson would have been seventh in the 1650 free. Only Seton Hall’s Jillian Calocino (16:51.76) and Gabrielle Van Tassell (17:05.51) finished ahead of her. She would have finished 15th in the 500 freestyle. Seton Hall put Calocino (4:57.22) into the Villanova-packed A final. Three Seton Hall swimmers were in the B final. In her freshman year she should walk into a very strong distance group that should provide for great training.
Welcome to The Hall! Congratulations!
