Heat Sheets Posted for arena Pro Swim Mesa Day One Finals

The heat sheets have been posted for the first night of finals at the arena Pro Swim Series meet in Mesa, Ariz. The session begins at 5 p.m. local time (same as PT), and live coverage will be available on Swimming World.

The session kicks off with the 100 free featuring Olympic gold medalists Simone Manuel and Nathan Adrian. Manuel was the top seed in the women’s event while Adrian qualified third behind Joao De Lucca and Cristian Quintero.
Madisyn Cox and Chase Kalisz are the top seeds in the women’s and men’s 200 breast, respectively, and Olympians Kelsi Worrell and Tom Shields will be in the lane for for the 100 fly finals.
Katie Ledecky will compete against Leah Smith in the women’s 400 free, and Louisville’s Marcelo Acosta has the top seed in the men’s 400 free.
The only A-final scratch came in the men’s 400 free, where eight-place finisher Matias Koski pulled out. Koski will, however, swim in the B-final of the 100 free.
Lia Neal scratched out of the women’s 100 fly C-final to focus on the 100 free, while Mallory Comerford will swim the 100 free and 100 fly A-finals but not the B-final of the 400 free, for which she qualified tenth.
