Haley Cisewski of Pine Crest Swimming Verbally Commits to Loyola Maryland
NEW COMMIT: Lauderdale By The Sea, Fla. native Haley Cisewski has announced her verbal commitment to Loyola University, Maryland and will suit up for the Greyhounds in the fall of 2021.
She told Swimming World:
“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to Loyola Maryland! Thank you to all my family, coaches, and friends for supporting me through this process. ROLL HOUNDS!!?”
A talented freestyler, Cisewski swims year-round with Pine Crest Swimming and finished sixth in the 400m free and seventh in the 100m free at the PST Sectional Qualifier meet in February after taking fourth in the 200 free at the PST Winter Championships in December.
Last summer, she raced to eighth in the 200m free and ninth in the 100m free at the Florida Gold Coast LCM Senior Championships. Cisewski also recorded four top-12 finishes at Florida Gold Coast Seniors in March 2019.
Her best times include:
- 100 free – 52.84
- 200 free – 1:53.70
- 500 free – 5:04.01
A rising senior at Pine Crest School, Cisewski finished eighth in the 500 free and ninth in the 200 free at the Florida 2A State Championships during her junior season. She also competed at the 1A State meet as a freshman.
Cisewski will add valuable depth both individually and on relays when she suits up for the Greyhounds as a member of the class of 2025. She would’ve been their second-fastest 200/500 freestyler last season and will arrive on campus following the graduation Emma Schouten.
