Grant Hackett Posts 51.38 in 100m Free in Brisbane

BRISBANE – Australia’s Grant Hackett, a multiple-time Olympic gold medalist competing in his first meet since the 2008 Olympics, continued his comeback today with another swim in the 100m free at the Medal Shots Queensland Long Course meet at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre.
Hackett finished second in the men’s 17 and Over division with a 51.38. He went out in 24.62 and came home in 26.76. Chandler’s Ned Kendry took first in 50.56.
On Saturday, the 34-year-old Hackett won the 400m free with a 3:55.68.
