Futures Qualifier Elli Moss of South East Metro Sharks Commits to Washington State
NEW COMMIT: Washington State University has received a new verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Futures qualifier Elli Moss of Woodbury, Minnesota.
She will join Skylar Brgoch, Emily Lundgren and Kirsten de Goede as a member of the Cougars’ Class of 2026.
She told Swimming World:
“So excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming careers at Washington State University!! I want to thank my friends, family, and coaches for all of their support. I can’t wait to be a Coug!!”
Moss does her club swimming with South East Metro Sharks and raced five events at the NCSA Championships this past summer after placing seventh in the 200m back at Minnesota Long Course Seniors. She also finished 17th in the 200m back at the TYR 18&U Cup in Des Moines and sixth in that event at Fargo Sectionals.
Her best times include:
- 200 back – 2:00.62
- 100 back – 56.99
- 100 free – 52.38
- 50 free – 24.01
- 200 IM – 2:08.26
Also competing for East Ridge High School, Moss raced the 100 back at the Minnesota 2A State Championships during her sophomore season. She owns multiple school records in both individual and relay events.
