Freestyler Reagan Osborne of Machine Aquatics Verbally Commits to LSU Tigers

NEW COMMIT: Reagan Osborne of Fairfax Station, Va. has verbally committed to Louisiana State University has a member of the class of 2024.

A talented freestyler, Osborne does her club swimming with Machine Aquatics and recently recorded a lifetime best at NCSAs in March. She raced to 18th in the 50 free at the Tom Dolan Invite in December and earned a trio of best times at NCSAs last summer.

Also competing for Lake Braddock High School, Osborne is a four-time Virginia 6A State Championship finalist. She finished eighth in the 100 free and 12th in the 50 free as a junior after placing eighth in the 500 free and 11th in the 200 free during her sophomore season.

She told Swimming World:

“Always dreamt of being an LSU Tiger, and now my dream has finally come true! Super excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at Louisiana State University! Huge thanks to everyone who helped me get to this point. Geaux Tigers!!!!”

Her best times include:

50 free – 23.59
100 free – 51.42
200 free – 1:52.59
500 free – 5:03.03

When she suits up for the Tigers in the fall of 2020, Osborne will add valuable depth to LSU’s freestyle group. Although she’s just outside of scoring range at the SEC Championships, she has continuously made improvements each season with over a year to go before arriving in Baton Rouge.
