Freestyler Oliver Rowe Sends Verbal Pledge to Princeton
NEW COMMIT: Princeton University has received a verbal commitment* for the fall of 2025 from Round Rock, Texas native Oliver Rowe, one of the top freestylers in his class.
Regarding his commitment, he said:
“I am excited and honored to announce my commitment to the admissions process at Princeton University. I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for helping me through this process. Go Tigers!”
Rowe trains year-round with Nitro Swimming and placed seventh in the 200m free and 14th in the 100m free this past sumer at Junior Nationals. That was after he recorded three top-5 finishes at Austin Sectionals.
His best times include:
- 100 free – 45.19
- 200 free – 1:37.16
- 500 free – 4:23.10
- 1000 free – 9:21.97
- 1650 free – 15:45.53
He is currently a junior at Round Rock High School.
Rowe’s best times would already score in the B-final at Ivy League Championships in the 200 free and 500 free.
