Freestyler Lauren Lee Announced Verbal Pledge To Boston College
NEW COMMIT: Boston College has earned another verbal commitment for the 2024-25 season and beyond from freestyler Lauren Lee of Scarsdale, New York.
She will join Lizzie Oliphant in Chestnut Hill as a member of the Eagles’ Class of 2028.
She told Swimming World:
“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Boston College! I want to thank everyone for supporting me along the way. Go Eagles!”
A Junior National qualifier, Lee does her club swimming with Badger Swim Club and most recently placed fifth in the 100m free at Richmond Futures where she also took 21st in the 200m free. Back in March, she had a trio of top-12 finishes at Ithaca Sectionals, highlighted by an eighth-place finish in the 200 free.
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 24.18
- 100 free – 51.71
- 200 free – 1:51.23
- 500 free – 5:01.29
Lee is currently in her senior year at Edgemont High School.
