Florida Junior Olympic Relay Records Fall

CLEARWATER, Florida, March 1. THANKS to Jerry and Karleen Dawson, we have news that a pair of girls 10&under relay meet records fell at the Florida Junior Olympics held Feb. 21-14.
The Fast Lane Aquatics team of Morgan Kaisrlik, Valerie Gruest, Gracie Redding and Kendall Dawson broke a seven-year old standard in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:52.56. The previous record was set by a Megan Romano-led team from St. Petersburg Aquatics in 2001 with a 1:54.97.
The Fast Lane team also broke the JO record of 2:09.38 set in 1998 in the 200 medley relay as Fast Lane clocked a time of 2:08.11. The performance also surpassed an LSC standard of 2:08.28 set in 2001.
