Florida High School Swimming to Move Forward With Postseason – COVID protocols still TBD
The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) finalized its postseason schedule for the fall swimming and diving championships. Many questions have been circulating over what the state championships would look like during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as new daily cases hover around 3,000+ per day.
The FHSAA state championships will be held on four separate days at Sailfish Splash Waterpark and Aquatics Center in Stuart. The FHSAA has not yet announced how it will go forward with COVID-19 protocols at the championships, but the district and regions meets will be timed finals.
- Class 3A – Friday, Nov. 6 – defending champs: Lawton Chiles, Barron Collier
- Class 4A – Saturday, Nov. 7 – defending champs: Oviedo
- Class 1A – Friday, Nov. 13 – defending champs: Bolles
- Class 2A – Saturday, Nov. 14 – defending champs: Pine Crest
The state tournament begins at the district level and advances to the regional level before ultimately finishing at states.

- Classes 3A & 4A – Monday-Saturday, Oct. 19-24, 2020
- Classes 1A & 2A – Monday-Saturday, Oct. 26-31, 2020
Regionals: (Timed Finals)

- Classes 1A & 2A – Monday-Saturday, Nov. 2-7, 2020
