Florida Gators Score 2020 Verbal from French National Junior Teamer Louise Lefebvre
NEW COMMIT: The University of Florida has gained a new verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Mulhouse, France native and talented backstroker Louise Lefebvre.
Lefebvre swims year-round with Mulhouse Olympique Natation and is a member of the French Junior National team. She recently won the 200m back at the French Junior Championships after winning both backstroke events at the National Mulhouse meet. This past summer, she raced to seventh place in the 100m back at the European Junior Championships.
In LCM, her best times include:
- 50m back – 30.24
- 100m back – 1:02.11
- 200m back – 2:14.27
- 50m free – 28.53
In SCY, those times convert to:
- 50 back – 26.30
- 100 back – 54.22
- 200 back – 1:57.75
- 50 free – 25.13
When she arrives in Gainesville in the fall of 2020, Lefebvre will add valuable backstroke depth to the Gators’ lineup as her best times (converted to yards) are already within scoring range at the SEC Championships.
