FINA World Cup Standings: Beata Nelson Leads Women; Dylan Carter, Nic Fink Tied for Men’s Lead
After stunning performances in Toronto, Maggie Mac Neil and Shaine Casas earned the most points at the FINA World Cup stop.
Mac Neil, of Canada, scored 58.5 points during the weekend to earn the women’s title for Toronto. Since she has only competed in the one stop, she is 13th in the overall World Cup standings.
USA’s short-course superstar Beata Nelson leads the overall standings with 115.6 points, just ahead of Hong Kong Olympic silver medalist Siobhan Haughey (112.9), followed by Beryl Gastaldello (105.3), Kylie Masse (194.70) and Ruta Meilutyte (101.8).

For the men, Casas, meanwhile, has moved into fifth, in the overall standings. Trinidad and Tobago’s Dylan Carter and USA’s Nic Fink are tied for the lead with 114.5 points apiece.
South Africa’s Matthew Sates (111) and Chad le Clos (110.2) follow, ahead of Casas (107.4).
