DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, December 16. CAMERON van der Burgh won the 100 breast title with a wire-to-wire win and a championship record time of 56.80.

It's just a tick off Felipe Silva's world-leading time of 56.79 swum in September. The silver medal went to Italy's Fabio Scozzoli with a 57.13, while Silva placed third with a 57.39.
Alexandrov (57.42), Brenton Rickard (57.79), Daniel Gyurta (58.16) and Vladislav Polyakov (58.66) also placed in the championship final. Japan's Naoya Tomita was disqualified.
