BOLZANO – This weekend’s Bolzano International Swim Meet will be full of star power, with Olympic champions Ryan Lochte and Natalie Coughlin among the top names sure to swim fast and greet their Italian fans during the popular meet.
One person bound to turn heads will be Federico Bocchia, dubbed “King Shark” and a lover of pre-race theatrics. In the 2012 meet before the 50 free final, Bocchia played on his nickname by wearing a crown and holding a scepter while wearing a regal robe.
