FORT LAUDERDALE – An ALL-STAR International lineup of speakers will grace the ASCA World Clinic from Sept. 8-12 in Cleveland!
Coach Bill Sweetenham – Australia – Will make his 12th appearance at the World Clinic, this time doing a group discussion with CRAIG LORD of SwimVortex and World Swimming Coaches Association President George Block on the future of International Swimming. Bill will also do a technical swimming talk and a SPECIAL SEMINAR restricted to 30 registrations only, of 3 hours…. A fantastic opportunity to interact with one of the great legendary coaches of our time!
Coach Jon Rudd of Great Britain – Coach of 2012 Olympic Champion in Breaststroke Ruta Meilutyte in 1:05.47 and some of Britain’s fine young sprint talents. Head Coach of Plymouth Leander, he has also been Head Coach of Britain’s senior team in international competition. Coach Rudd will speak on “Coaching Principles for a Successful Youth Program as well as the development of his stat breaststroke pupil. He will also offer a special seminar restricted to 30 registrations. Another opportunity to pick a great mind!
Coach Wayne Goldsmith of Australia will join ASCA to talk about “Soft Skills for Athletes- Turning Swimmers into Complete Athletes” and do a talk on the Business of Swimming – “Your top ten questions answered, AND present a similar 3 hour Special Seminar.
In addition, over 40 American Coaches will present topics ranging from Age Group to High School to Senior to Masters Swimming.

As the year before the 2016 Olympics in Rio, we expect an exciting program, with special sections devoted to International swimming (headlined by USA National Team Director Frank Busch as our keynote speaker) and Wayne Goldsmith from Australia, as well as many other international notables. Our College swimming program in conjunction with the CSCAA will continue to expand as well as our NISCA/ASCA section since we’re in Ohio, one of the hotbeds of high school competition. And as always, we’ll have plenty of meat and potatoes talks for our age group coaches.
