European Aquatics Announce Details Of 2025 Open Water Cup
The schedule has been released for the 2025 European Aquatics Open Water Cup which runs from May to September next year.
The five-stop series begins on 3 May in Protaras, Cyprus, before heading to Setubal, Portugal, on 22 June with Paris hosting leg three on 26 July.
The open water programme concludes at the World Championships in Singapore on 20 July with the pool competition starting on 27 July and likely swimmers who compete indoors and outdoors including the likes of Gregorio Paltrinieri, Florian Wellbrock, Oliver Klemet and Kuzey Tunçelli.
Barcelona stages the fourth leg on 20 September before the series concludes in Ražanac, Croatia, a week later on 27 September.
Andrea Filadelli of Italy and France’s Inez Delacroix claimed the respective overall men’s and women’s titles at the 2024 series which ended in September.
