Erica Sullivan Takes Pride in Representing LGBTQ+ Community and ‘Being an Ally’ (VIDEO)

Swimming World kicks off Pride Month with an interview with Erica Sullivan.

The Olympic silver medalist in the 1500 free discusses her life in Swimming World’s latest video interview.

Sullivan has been out for several years and has been outspoken about acceptance and equality.

“People want to see lesbian representation and they see me,” Erica Sullivan said. “My personal experience has been mostly positive. … Being an ally is more important than me conforming or agreeing with people.”
