Eneli Jefimova, World Junior Champion, Verbally Commits to NC State for 2025
NEW COMMIT: Estonia’s Eneli Jefimova has pledged her verbal commitment to NC State for Fall 2025, giving the Wolfpack a big addition to their roster. Jefimova represented Estonia at the Tokyo Olympics.
She will join Sydney Holfelder in Raleigh as part of NC State’s Class of 2029.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I’m very excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at North Carolina State University! I would like to thank my family, teammates and coach for their support. I can’t wait to be a part of Wolfpack!”
In addition to being an Olympian, Jefimova is world junior champion and a three-time World Championship finalist. She earned gold in the 50m breast, silver in the 100m breast and bronze in the 200m breast last month at the World Junior Championships.
In meters (LCM / SCM), her best times include:
- 50m breast – 30.08 / 30.09
- 100m breast – 1:06.18 / 1:04.25
- 200m breast – 2:26.02 / 2:22.20
In yards, those times convert to:
- 50 breast – 27.10
- 100 breast – 1:04.25 57.88 in yards
- 200 breast – 2:08.10
Jefimova also took sixth in the 100m breast and eighth in the 50m breast at the World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, earlier this summer. Jefimova was also crowned the LEN European Junior champion in the 50m breast.
