Emma Reaney Takes Us Behind Scenes of World Short Course Championships – Video
SOUTH BEND – She might be back home at Notre Dame after an incredible international trip experience at the World Short Course Championships, but Emma Reaney’s heart is still in Doha.
Reaney put together a fun-filled behind the scenes video of moments captured with her GoPro video camera while on the trip with Team USA. The behind the scenes video, that also can be sub-titled “the video with Elizabeth Beisel laughing early and often,” shows just why Team USA still managed to win Team of the Meet even without winning a single individual gold medal.
Behind the Scenes With Emma Reaney
The video not only heavily features Beisel, it also has Tyler Clary, Kathleen Baker and several other swimmers showing off the fun side of these types of trips.
Reaney has had quite a year. Last season, she became the first current Notre Dame student-athlete, past or present, to hold an American record with her times in the 200-yard breaststroke. She went on to become the NCAA Champion in the 200-yard breast with another American-record setting time at the time.
After a stint training with SwimMAC this summer, she earned a spot on the World Short Course Championship roster as she had the chance to swim against the best in the world.
