Eliza Wallace, Junior Pan Pac Finalist, Sends 2026 Verbal To Tennessee

NEW COMMIT: The University of Tennessee has landed a big recruit for the Class of 2026 from Olympic Trials qualifier Eliza Wallace of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“ROCKY TOP TENNESSEE🍊 I am extremely excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic careers at the University of Tennessee!! I want to thank God for blessing me with this incredible opportunity and the lifelong support of my family and friends. I am especially grateful to Coach Sean and all of MSA for guiding me on this journey. I also want to thank Coach Matt and Coach Caleb and all of the @vol_swimdive staff!! I cannot wait for what is to come! GO VOLS🧡”

Wallace most recently competed for Team USA at the Junior Pan Pac Championships in August. There, she finished 10th in both the 100m breast and 200m breast.

Wallace, who does her club swimming with Mecklenburg Swim Association, placed 21st in the 100m breast at Olympic Trials this past summer. Last December, she won the B-final of the 100 breast at Juniors East before going on to win that event at the Speedo Spring Championships in March.

Her best times include:

  • 100 breast – 59.67
  • 200 breast – 2:15.82
  • 50 free – 23.14
  • 100 free – 50.30
  • 200 free – 1:50.41
  • 200 IM – 2:03.64

Currently a junior at Ardrey Kell High School, Wallace won the 100 breast and earned silver in the 100 free at the 2024 North Carolina 4A State Championships. She finished 15th in the 100 breast at the state meet during her freshman season.

Even with just under two years of club swimming still to go before arriving in Knoxville, Wallace is just shy of scoring range in the 100 breast at the NCAA Championships.
