Eastern Zone Age Group Champion Logan Euker Lends Commitment to Hawaii
NEW COMMIT: The University of Hawai’i has received a new commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond from Logan Euker of Fredericksburg, Va.
He told Swimming World:
“I am so excited and honored to announce my Verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Hawaii!!! From the first conversation with Coach Nick, I have known University of Hawaii is the perfect place for me. I cannot wait to be a member of this great swim program for the next 4 years!! I want to thank God, my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for helping me to become the person and athlete I have become and guiding me through this process. GO RAINBOW WARRIORS!!!”
Euker, who does his club swimming with Rappahannock Y Swim Team, sprinted to 15th place in the 100 free at Virginia Seniors last March where he earned a pair of best times. In August 2019, he secured gold in the 100m free and bronze in the 200m free at the Eastern Zone Age Group Championships.
His best times include:
- 50 free – 21.71
- 100 free – 47.30
- 200 free – 1:43.47
- 500 free – 4:45.56
When he arrives in Honolulu as a member of the Rainbow Warriors’ Class of 2026, Euker will add valuable depth both individually and on relays. He will join a sprint group led by Talon Lindquist, John Clark, and Justin Lisoway.
Under head coach Elliot Ptasnik, Hawai’i clinched their second-straight MPSF Championship title in 2020.
