Vollmer and husband Andy Grant already have a two-year-old son named Arlen. Vollmer actually competed while pregnant with Ryker at the Arena Pro Swim Series meet in Mesa, Ariz., back in April, and she announced that her second child would be a boy when she wore a green racing suit instead of a pink one.
Vollmer returned to competition after giving birth to Arlen in time to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games, where she won one medal of each color. She plans to return to national racing by next summer.
