Kropp says even he was shocked to see his time of 52.02 and he attributes that time to his consistent work ethic at practice. Kropp also discusses re-adjusting his goals for the season and how a sub 52 second breaststroke is now firmly in his sights.
The topic then changes to how Peter chose Duke even though he’s from California and returning to California during the summer to train with Canyons Aquatic Club.
During the 2013-14 season, Peter placed fourth in the 100 breaststroke at the ACC Championship (53.34). He also made finals in the 200 breaststroke, coming in 21st after notching a best time of 1:59.33 during the preliminaries. Over the summer, Peter was a member of Team USA’s JR Pan-Pac team.
