Since winning bronze in the 800 Free Relay at the 2017 World Championships, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Conor Dwyer has found a new set of teammates to race with.

On Sept. 17, Dwyer teamed up with Hollywood movie star Zac Efron, as well as his brother Dylan Efron, to compete in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon at Zuma Beach in Los Angeles County.

The race – comprised of a 1/2 mile Pacific Ocean swim, 17 mile bike and 4 mile run – was held to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

The trio, otherwise known as “Team Flow,” had the fastest swim split and ultimately finished fourteenth in the celebrity category.

More importantly, numerous celebrities paid visit to the hospital and helped raise money for its pediatric cancer center. Other well-known entrants included James Marsden, Jamie Lee Curtis, Oscar Nunez and Luke Hemsworth.

Aside from donating his time to charity, Dwyer has been traveling the country since his return from Europe. Earlier in the week, he led a rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Wrigley Field, a ballpark he is no stranger to:

As if Conor Dwyer doesn’t attract Swim-lebrity status on his own, his Flow squad has only given him more attention in the world outside the pool.

LA County Life Guard & Team Marsden swimmer Max Jaban crossed the shower tunnel 1st, was the time point further on? Also distances mentioned were for Saturday’s international distance, not Sunday’s classic.
