PHOENIX – The college season is in full swing but this week our performance award goes to a post-grad swimmer. The University of Michigan held a quad meet against Texas, Louisville and Indiana. Connor Jaeger made a huge splash in the 1000 freestyle exhibition heat with not only a new pool record but Jaeger posted the second fastest time in the history of the event 8:41.09. This time sits behind Erik Vendt’s 8:36.49 from 2008. Watch out, this is some early season speed. Congratulations Connor on being out Speedo Performance of the Week.
