Columbia University Ready For Its Swimming World Instagram Takeover
One week after Swimming World launched its 2022-23 Instagram Takeover series featuring Queens University, we venture up the East Coast to New York City. This week’s Takeover will be handled by Columbia University’s Grace Dunn, who is a freshman at the Ivy League school. Dunn joined the Lions after a successful scholastic career at Chaparral High School in Arizona.
During Friday’s Instagram Takeover, Dunn will oversee the Swimming World social media page and take followers along for a look at a day in the life of a college student-athlete. Throughout the college season, multiple swimmers will bring followers behind the scenes at the college program, sharing their academic challenges and the demands of swimming for a collegiate squad.
Columbia’s week will kick off with the coaching staff answering the Motivational Monday question: How would you motivate unmotivated athletes? The coaches will discuss their strategies and approaches for building inspiration, especially in athletes who may need to rekindle their desire. On Wednesday, members of the Columbia program will answer the question: Would you rather wear a latex or silicone cap?
To wrap up the week, Dunn will take over the Swimming World Instagram account. The freshman is a distance freestyler who was a captain as a high school senior. With Dunn contributing, Chaparral won four consecutive state titles in Arizona.
She looks to be an all around athlete!
This is great. Thanks to the Organizer, I hope such even happen in the various schools in my country every year.
