AUSTIN, March 16. THE Circle C 17-18 Boys 400 yard Medley Relay team set a new national age group record at the American Short Course Championships held at the Lee and Joe Jamail Swim Center in Austin, Texas last weekend
The team composed of, Will Sarosdy (Backstroke), Alejandro Jacobo (Breaststroke), Adam Preston (Butterfly), and Garrett Weber-Gale, (Freestyle), set a new mark of 3:19.41, breaking the old mark by over 1.5 seconds. The old mark of 3:21.05 was set two years ago by the Anderson Barracudas team of Cramer, Kauscher, Tomes, and Betkle.
This was the second NAG relay record broken by the Circle C 17-18 boys this season, and there was nearly a third as they missed the 200 Medley Relay record by only 14-hundreths of a second.
