The 2021 Indiana Boys State Swimming and Diving Championship took place on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind.
Despite only winning one relay and one individual event, the Carmel boys used their impressive depth to win their seventh-straight championship crown with 360 points ahead of Fishers (198.5) and Zionsville (189.5).
The win set a new state record for most consecutive titles won and marks the 21st title in program history. The Greyhounds made it a sweep as the Carmel girls clinched their 35th-consecutive title two weeks ago, and tonight’s victory is the school’s 158th IHSAA championship.
Carmel also joined a pretty special relay club on Saturday.
