Cameron van der Burgh uncorked a 59.66 to win the men’s 100-meter breast. That’s just off his second-ranked season best of 59.61, but enough to clinch the title by a wide margin.
Jarred Crous took second in 1:01.10, missing the FINA A cut in the process. Craig Emslie took third overall in 1:02.33.

Tatjana Schoenmaker qualified second in 1:08.72, while Franko Jonker turned in a 1:08.79 for the third seed. The finale should be a good one with three swimmers all battling for that A cut.
