Dressel is excited to be a part of a group of talented athletes guided by a well-known coaching staff, and said he’s not that concerned with the times on the scoreboard at this weekend’s meet. This comes from the lessons he learned in a five-month break he took earlier this year to mostly take a mental rest from the sport after a busy 2013. He talks about his new outlook on the sport and how he’s learning to have fun again and shift his focus in training a bit.
