Maddie Raue has committed to swim at Loyola New Orleans beginning in the fall. Raue will be a social justice scholar and have the opportunity to participate in a range of community service opportunities while studying journalism or psychology and minoring in sociology. She’ll also be an immediate contributor to the team.
Her best times are:
- 100 Fly 57.93
- 200 Fly 2:10.89
- 1000 Free 10:53.32
Raue attends Bishop Eustace Preparatory School and swims for the Jersey Wahoos. Loyola New Orleans will be in it’s second year next season, competing in the NAIA.
This year Raue’s 100 butterfly time would have finished fourth at the NAIA National Championship. She also would have finished sixth in the 200 butterfly. Those points will be an impressive contribution to what could be a quickly rising Wolfpack squad.
Raue’s parents, Brent and Jennifer, swam in college at the Catholic University of America.
