NEW COMMIT: Boulder, Colo. native Jenna Reznicek has announced her verbal commitment* to continue her athletic and academic career at Brown University. in Providence, Rhode Island.

She will join Evie Krall, Sara Barrett and Ellie Brault as a member of the Bears’ class of 2025.

She told Swimming World:

“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Brown University! I’m so thankful for my family, coaches and friends for the support along the way! I can’t wait to continue doing what I love with an amazing group of coaches and teammates for the next four years! I’m looking forward to being a part of the Bruno Family! #GOBRUNO️”

A talented sprint backstroker and butterflyer, Reznicek is a U.S. Open qualifier who does her club swimming with Elevation Athletics. She achieved three best times at Juniors West in December and had two top-12 finishes at Phoenix Sectionals in March 2019.

Her best times include:

  • 100 back – 54.48
  • 200 back – 2:05.35
  • 100 fly – 54.78
  • 200 fly – 2:08.88

Reznicek is a huge get for Brown and will make an immediate impact both individually and on medley relays. She would’ve scored in the A-final of the 100 back as well as the B-final of the 100 fly at the 2020 Ivy League Championships.
