Braden Holloway, Megan Oesting Named as ASCA Board of Directors Members
The attendees at the 2020 American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) Virtual World Clinic voted for the new Board of Directors members as five new members were announced to the Board.

The five new members are replacing the outgoing Kim Ferretti, Michael Lawrence, Kathleen Klein Prindle, Gregg Troy and Chuck Warner.

Mitch Dalton
Mitch Dalton is the current women’s assistant at the University of Texas as he spent five years at USA Swimming as the National Junior Team Director, serving a role to identify, support and cultivate future Olympians. He worked in conjunction with the USA Swimming High Performance staff and United States Olympic Committee practitioners.
Braden Holloway
Braden Holloway has been the head coach at NC State University for the last ten seasons and has brought the Wolfpack into the nation’s elite, winning the last six ACC men’s titles, as well as the 2017 and 2019 ACC women’s titles. He was the head coach for Team USA at the 2019 World University Games
Mike Murray
Mike Murray is the head coach at Victor Swim Club. In 2017, Victor Swim Club had its most successful year of swimming in its 40-year history. Over 12 Victor Swimmers competed at The Futures Championships, Junior National, Senior National/World Championship Trials and the US Open. At the 2017 Futures Championship, Victor finished 2nd overall and the women’s team claimed the runner-up title for the 2nd consecutive season in Geneva, Ohio. Victor Swim Club also won its 3rd consecutive Niagara LSC SCY Championship Title, as well as the 1st ever Niagara LSC LCM Championship title. During that time, Victor Swimmers were awarded 16 National Age Group Top 10 time awards and Victor Swimmers represented their team at National Select Camp, National Open Water Select Camp, Diversity Select Camp, and Zone Select Camps
Megan Oesting
Megan Oesting of the Eastern Iowa Swim Federation was named as the ASCA Age Group Coach of the Year at the American Swimming Coaches Association World Clinic in Dallas, Texas last year. She created the Eastern Iowa Swim Federation from a local community team in 2016. Since then she’s expanded to three sites, rewritten over two thirds of the previous team records, broken and reset over 40 Iowa Swimming records, posted over 25 Top 100 All Time National Age Group swims, half of which were in the top 10, including 1 National Age Group Record.
Doug Wharam
Doug Wharam is the head coach at Nashville Aquatic Club and has developed some of the top high school talent on the girls side in the last few years, including national team members Alex and Gretchen Walsh, as well as current NCAA stars Ella Nelson and Allie Raab.
